Ohio State Finally Finds Lost Left Shoe
URBANA, OH – Decades after losing its other Shoe, Ohio State was finally able to complete the pair when the left Shoe was rediscovered in a field in Urbana Thursday afternoon. Opened in 1922, the pair stood together for nearly twenty years before the left Shoe was apparently lost. Until today, the widespread belief was that it was gone forever.
“This is a great recovery for OSU,” said athletic director Gene Smith. “If we hadn’t found the left Shoe, we probably would have needed to build another one soon.” According to Smith, the current plan for the left Shoe is to stack it on top of the other one because that would be awesome.
